3 Year Aerial Warranty
AB Aerials are now offering a 3 years warranty on all Aerial installations either Freeview or DAB/FM. Most other companies on offer a 12 months warranty or insist that you pay a premium for the extra warranty.
We are able to offer the 3 year warranty at no extra cost because of two things, workmanship and the quality of components that we use for the installation.
Workmanship
At AB Aerials we pride ourselves on workmanship and a quality finished product.
Every aerial is correctly fitted to the chimney or wall and is secured to the highest possible degree. We also follow the CAI guidelines on using the correct brackets for different lengths of pole and size of aerial.
Cables are properly secured both on the roof and the wall and all terminations are checked to ensure they are free from defects in any connections.
Quality of Components
All the components use in our installations are of the highest quality.
The brackets used are galvanised so they do not rust or corrode and will last for many years.
Our aerials are endorsed by the CAI as suitable for digital Freeview and we choose the manufacturer based on reputation and quality rather than price.
The method we use to fix the bracket to a chimney is a new and innovative method that is claimed to have a lifespan of 100 years.
We always try and leave the signal path from the aerial to the TV as interrupted as possible.
This involves not fitting a TV socket wherever possible and no other joints or breaks in the cable.
Terms and Conditions
The 3 years warranty covers the workmanship and passive (i.e. non powered components) only, electronic components are covered by 12 month manufacturer's warranty.
Whilst we expect the installation to last well over 3 years under normal circumstances, certain circumstances are not covered. What is not covered is loss of signal, damage or alteration to the installation due to:
